J ignition housing and cover plate

#1 PostAuthor: Al » Tue Sep 08, 2020 11:53 am

Find myself in need of an inner ignition housing and cover for the J.
J, Gpz 1100B, z1000R inner housing needed because it has Dyna 2000 therefore Z1100R1 and Unitrak 1100A wont work for me.
The outer cover could be any of the above as although slightly different outwardly on the later models, they are physically the same.
Cash, Card, Cheque, maybe even paypal if i can figure it out :D
Not in a hurry.

Two Wheeled Spares (DK) have got two on eBay, and there's half a dozen in Germany.

Where'd you come off?

Thanks Julian, i did look there in the morning but what i saw didnt inspire me. Looking again later was more rewarding so may get some from them or the German source.
It was Nelson at Snetterton, i was compelled to throw it on the floor or T-bone the lad who stopped bolt upright mid corner in front of me.

Hope you're not hurt, Rob told me you'd come off.

Got an unpainted housing off a Z1100A shaft I don't need. I'll take a close look at it when I get home but I'm pretty sure it's in good shape.
Probably £30 odd quid posted.

No cover plate though I'm afraid.

Olly thank you for taking the time to reply. The inner cover sounds great. I will send a pm with a couple of details about the inner cover as it needs to be the version with three fixing points for the timing plate to mount to which i asume will be the same.
I have ordered an outer cover so thank you, that part is under way.
