I have several right hand footrests, including a NOS Z900 or later one, if anyone needs it, but the only left hand riders footrest I have is a mess.
I’m looking for an NOS or good used one, genuine if at all possible, for a 1974 Z1A. It’s the one with a ‘staggered’ pattern in the rubber ribbing, also folding as it’s a USA bike. I have the mount, pin etc.
Let me know how much you want or I could swap for my right hand footrest collection. If you aren’t sure if you have a right or left footrest post a picture, the difference is how the angle is cut so the peg can fold in.
I have the footrest bracket, pin and washer, I just need the bar with the rubber on.

Is this what you're after Dave, I've got two NOS left footrests - if so, happy to do a straight swap for your right Z900 one.

Re: Z1A left footrest US bike
That looks like exactly what I want, I'll get the Z900 one out of the garage later so I can post photos to check its what you need. Then we can swap addresses via pm.
Many thanks

Re: Z1A left footrest US bike
Andrew check this is the peg you want.
The number 34028 1008 comes up on CMSNL as a right hand peg but it has 'non staggered' bars on the rubber part.

Its possibly Z1000 or Z1R, it hadn't ever been out of the bag until yesterday.

Dave, that's not a Z900 footrest - the Z900 is a staggered molding and but does the same shape of the metal peg.
But if you want the footrest for £35 (+ postage) drop me a PM with your address.
Cheers,
Andrew

Re: Z1A left footrest US bike
Ok I think its Z1000 and Z1R having researched the part number, sorry about that. I'll put it in the 'For Sale' forum. I still need your peg though, I'll send you a pm.
