Carbs for 1100 GPZ. Still wanted !
Anyone got a set of working carbs they would like to sell.
Would consider Gsxr carbs or similar just need something to get a mildly tuned Gpz11 motor up and running.
Cheers

Hi, I’ve got a set of ZRX1200 carbs? Think they’re 36mm Mikuni’s
Re: Carbs for 1100 GPZ.
I picked up a set of 34mm CV’s from a GPz750 in the hope they’ll do for my Unitrak 11. I’m not convinced they are the same as the 34mm’s fitted to GPz1100’s. They fit OK but I’ve not attempted to fire it up yet.

Re: Carbs for 1100 GPZ.
They are jetted differently and the needles and air corrector jets are different but it'll run fine on them. CV carbs are quite forgiving if there's an airbox fitted. Never tried running with pods yet but I gather it can be a world of pain getting them to run properly.
Ive got a gpz1100b2 with 750 uni carbs and 750 uni modified airbox. I think I'm on top needle notch and about a 135 main. Goes well.

It's run that setup since 2001. Just gone up to an 1136 so I might run out of tweakage when i get it back on the road.... got a set of z1100 carbs that I'll use if it runs lean and Ive run out of adjustment. The most obvious difference is the needles, which are quite thick.

Run a GPZ1100B2 with carbs from Z1100A1 with K&N filters and stage1 dynojet kit, perfect fuelling from Rickover to redline no flat spots and good mpg. Previously run with 160 mains as per an old EBC and so filers manual recomdations, pulled well from 5000 to 10000 but woolly below since fitting Dynojet kit ith drilled slide and lighter springs plus 160dynojet mains absolutely perfect. Have tried a clean set of smooth ores but not worth expense compared to my carbs on road and also better mannered. Hope this helps.

That is a handy bit of knowledge. Where did you get the dynojet kit?
