900A4 Footrest

I have a replacement knee and have limited flexion, riding the bike is ok but uncomfortable unless I sit well back on the seat, so my cunning plan is to cut a footrest, extend forwards and downwards by about 50mm therefore I'm after a left hand footrest if anyone has one lying about.

Hi,
I also have knee issues and I’ve made footrest lowering brackets for every one of my bikes. The brackets use the existing footrests and simply use the standard cotter pins to fit to the bike.

The beauty of this is that they can be removed in seconds and can be made to any height and forward/aft positions.

See the images of my A1 with them fitted. Not perfect photos but you can just see the bracket painted in black. I’ve got 9 different bikes, all with lowered footrests! They do reduce the ground clearance a little but worth it for the comfort. Hope this helps.

Thanks, difficult to see. Did you make them or have them made?

Hi, I made them. Just mild steel welded.
Is it just one side you want to change?
