They're both easy to open up and re-code to your ignition key

Thanks Paul and Mike.
I might be interested in them Paul if I can do what Mike says.

How do you recode them Mike. I don’t want to try this and break them.

I can do them for you if you like. Just send them and a spare ignition key and I'll do it the same day and back to you. Free of charge.

I normally have the seat and helmet locks ready to sell, and offer the coding service free of charge, but they're thin on the ground recently.

This sounds great.
I’ve pm’d you Paul about the locks you have.
When I have the parts I’ll message you Mike about re-coding them

Thanks guys

Hi

@paul I never had a reply from my PM about the locks you have for sale, are they still available

@Mike, thank you so much for your kind offer to re code the locks for me but my destructive impatient side took over. However this time it wasn’t destructive :)
I managed to dismantle my seat lock and re code it to the ignition key. 2 of the brass blades were shot so it now has 4 instead of 6 but works a treat. Well fiddly job though.
