Anyone out there got a Z1 tailpiece with the 2 'rails' as shown below in 2nd picture that I could buy or swap for the one I have in the 1st picture?
Some of you older members may remember 'Desert Rat' which is being restored. I'd rather not respray the original if possible. Thanks, John

Thanks for the link, Unfortunately the Z900/1000 tail piece is a completely different shape at the back. Much more flared on the later model

For those of you who remember 'Desert Rat' here are a couple of pics for reminder of the paintwork. I cannot bring myself to repaint the original items. They are only original once!

They’ll be a few checking their 72/73 Z1 tail pieces now.

There drawer runners for the document tray till IKEA said they were no longer required at least when kawa altered the z1r tail section from the early one it was for a good reason !! Now z1r fans all run out and see if u have a early or later tail section

It’s surprising how many Z1 owners weren’t aware of this small detail even though it has been mentioned before.
