engine etc required

I have acquired a tubular Harris-type frame, and need an engine/ carbs etc. I have tried a friend's GPZ1100 engine in it and it fits. A local frame builder also suggested an early Suzuki Bandit 1200 or early GSXr 750/1100 as suitable.
I would take a complete abandoned project with V5 if it had all the components I want.

I have a couple of Bandit 12 motors , one needs rebuild , another low mileage from 07 bike (I think). I have a Z1000 J motor , complete other than g.box sprocket cover , mileage unknown turns over,, but If I was doing a Harris I'd be doing a rebuild anyway. PM me if interested . Thanks

could be interesting, if I was nearer I'd do a trial fit with the frame and see what looked best.Plus i still need all the ancillaries

The J motor is same mounts as the GPZ ( I believe ) Bandits need a tweak . Butcheredclassics on Facebook will give the info you need . Not a lot on a std Z frame . Not busting to sell either of them . I realised it's a Harris styled frame so budget may be different . Proper Harris would be a different subject .
