Z1000 cylinder head mk2/st/h/g

#1 PostAuthor: j.b » Mon Jan 10, 2022 10:22 am

Hi,
I’m looking for a good used cylinder head for a z1000g, if anyone has a spare one for sale please.
Cash or I’ve got quite a few spares from various zed models and 750turbo gpz1100 to trade if preferred.
Cheers, jon

Thanks rob…..let me know please if you do have one to part with.
I’m not too worried about damaged fins but that one at dk has 3 snapped cam cap bolts which I’d rather try and avoid.

I have MK2 and H heads. I have a H head with plugged injector ports or open ports, what do you need exactly?

It’s just a bare head with cam caps rob, my cams and bushes look ok, valves fitted would be a bonus but I could probably reuse the the ones in the damaged head I’ve got here…..mines also got blanking plates over the injection ports, I’ll be fitting carbs.

I’ve got a N.O.S Z1000 head here.
Spoke to ZPower,- seems new repro heads end up at approx £3K,- these include valves & springs.
Asking £1500,- best offer ?
