for the prices i see being asked nowadays its just see how much i can get away with ripping folk off,£800 for a second hand set of z1a wheels that need full refurb ,400 for half a z900 airbox ,z1b full rear gaurd 1000,youd be better of buying a bike and breaking it

Simple supply and demand. People are happy for their Z900A4 to be worth £15k once they've restored it, but expect to be given the rare and unavailable parts.
Last time I looked noone was ever press-ganged into buying anything that's offered for sale and anyone who lets parts go is always thinking how much they would have to pay if they needed one in the future.
