Z1000r2 h bar clamps

#1 PostAuthor: Skid Mark » Sat Nov 12, 2022 4:23 pm

I am looking at changing the frontend of my r2 back to standard, it acquired a r1 colour scheme and front end along the way. I have the top yoke but I'm looking out for the square h bar clamps with recess for allen screws. The ones that came with the yoke are more like r1 or j's which are rounded at the ends and no recess.
Also does anyone know if the ignition switch is the same. Key fits all three locks so it will be a bitch if it is a different one.
Thanks in advance.

I have the one shown in the Front fork assembly illustration, the number is 44039 which is for the r1. I also have the 44039A which is not illustrated this has the ignition hole in the centre instead of offset. I haven't stripped it down yet to check but looking at your post it does appeared that I'm Banjaxed! I would also need to change loom or at least connectors. The closer I get the further it slips back. I also have another unforeseen issue with forks. I'll be posting separately on this. :cr
