Actually, in the UK they peaked a few years ago IMO

yes i beleive they have peaked there are still a lot of high priced ones not getting sold, super condition ones will always sell,
i would like one to cosmetically restore and will keep an eye out for the right one

Genuine question,
Would you say my one linked below was over priced or poor condition then? 17 peps have hit the favourite button but nothing but dealer and chancer enquiries.
Not a dent ding or scratch on its original paintwork, new chain and sprockets, pads, runs and rides perfectly.

Its not in poor condition by any streach of the imagination, one of the better ones and the milage is very good it could be too high it depends if you want to sell or testing the market which is a little down at the moment (just my opinion and not trying to insult anyone ) so you may need to drop if you want to move it on. There are a lot of poor ones out there and they are jumping on the prices of the good ones with dealers joining in but i dont think there are the buyers out there at the moment. these are just my opinions I am sure someone else will disagree

:hah! Thanks Deka, thought I was selling a dog for a moment then! :biggrin , I'm in no need or rush to sell just could do with the space. I think it's down to two main factors, time of year and economic climate.
Question is, leave the ad up and gain visibility until better weather or not renew the ad until spring, losing visibility but avoiding the "been lingering for ages" stigma.

Price for all bikes are all over the place.
Low mileage, mint condition bikes in stock trim will always demand a high(er) price. £6500 should get you a low mileage mint A6 1200.
Good luck with your search.

The problem with that is it may cost you more to cosmetically restore a cheaper one that pay top $ for a minter.

Golden rule/old adage, buy the best you can it'll be cheaper in the long run.

Annoyingly I missed an 1100 in green. 19000 miles. Loads of docs. £5k. There is another 1100 in red but with stripes up for £5400 9800 miles.

interesting discussion, i am possibly thinking of selling my C4 ZRX, It has under 5 k miles, i really cant think there are many with less miles out there, its in the GPZ colours which i always preferred, (wait for the howls of protest).

i wouldnt take a penny under 5 grand for it, and yes, i think warren's is spotless and i hope he gets his price
