I was not after a R i do have a top painter who does a brill job, but looking and i have been for sometime there is such a variation from 2k upwards (that one sold in minutes was purple and had 60k) evento one that was a cat n for 41/2and beyond.. not trying to insult anyone but as you said they have peaked and with everything else that is going on at the moment the higher prices are not being realised , i have seen the same bikes for 3k up been for sale for over 6 months and possibly longer

Price for all bikes are all over the place.
Low mileage, mint condition bikes in stock trim will always demand a high(er) price. £6500 should get you a low mileage mint A6 1200.

That’s a stunner for sure and only just over 4000 miles from new, doubt you would find another one!

At £5k it’s a no brainier and if I had room for it, it would be living with me.

:hah! Thanks Deka, thought I was selling a dog for a moment then! , I'm in no need or rush to sell just could do with the space. I think it's down to two main factors, time of year and economic climate.
Question is, leave the ad up and gain visibility until better weather or not renew the ad until spring, losing visibility but avoiding the "been lingering for ages" stigma.

interesting discussion, i am possibly thinking of selling my C4 ZRX, It has under 5 k miles, i really cant think there are many with less miles out there, its in the GPZ colours which i always preferred, (wait for the howls of protest).

i wouldnt take a penny under 5 grand for it, and yes, i think warren's is spotless and i hope he gets his price

Thanks for kind comments and interest, i am still not 100% certain that i am going to sell, so dont want to waste anyones time, once i decide i will confirm it on here.

What i would say is i would be reluctant to sell it sight unseen, i had a very bad experience previously for which i was blameless, and it's put me off.

Also the bike needs MOT'd which i would arrange.

Listing mine on Car and Classic this week at 6K, still lowest mileage ive seen at 4770, MOT'd yesterday, will see how it goes, nearly changed mind after cleaning it up after storage, but simple truth is, its too heavy and my knees are shot!
