Z1100R/Gpz 1100 Unitrak camshaft

Hi Guys, my Z1100R is currently down south getting an engine rebuild and amongst other problems, it appears the exhaust camshaft is "blued" but just within service limits, so ive been advised to try and find a decent used one to be on safe side as NOS parts are no longer available.

Having looked at the CMSNL website part diagram, it appears the part no for inlet and exhaust are the same, 12044-1057 and they are common to the ELR and the 83-85 Z1100A1-A3, aka the Gpz 1100 unitrak.

Does anyone have one in good condition they would be willing to part with, any help or advice appreciated.

Thanks
Dave

Mark

Thanks so much for this tip, not only did the seller still have the correct cams, he took them to the restorer to check he was happy with them before he asked me for the money, a total gent!

Hope I can repay the favour to him some day.

Dave
