Reasonable condition plastic document tray, fits in tailpiece to house owners manual if anyone has one spare, prefer with rubber pull handle and warning sticker.

Reproductions of the document tray and pull rubber available from Z Power. Not sure which warning sticker goes on there but sure someone here has an original and can identify for you.

Thanks for reply Mike, yes i had seen that but doesnt come with sticker or the rubber handle, did a search and couldnt find the handle, also seen a few on ebay but in very poor condition and pricy.
Thought someone on here might have one stashed in their jumble somewhere, or at least hoped as tend to be in better condition, genuine and reasonable priced.

Thanks Yes i was aware they are different but anythings better then nothing at all, which is my problem at moment. it is a Z900 A4 but think all of the Z series models are same size, i can live with the incorrect sticker, or even buy a new one.
Theres 1 on ebay at moment and its split, now who would buy that?

Appreciate the link Warren but for some reason it wont let me view the content, says only shared with a few people. That said dont really use Facebook. So maybe thats why.
I presumed people who have accumulated stuff over the years or turned them into cafe racers, , or sold on may have an odd 1 going spare. Not desperate just a nice to have.

Yes thanks Warren already seen that from another member a few posts above yours. Firstly its not in uk and extortionately priced for what amounts to a piece of 2nd hand plastic.
Unfortunately my pockets not deep enough to buy it.
Obviously what i consider a fair price to that guy are completely different.
Alas looks like ill be doing without.

Not sure but I think the '76 and later are different to the 72-75 models, I've got one somewhere that's slightly too big for my '75 Z1b.

It's not perfect and doesn't have the handle or sticker but if I can find it you can have it for the cost of posting it to you.

Z1 - Z1B - tray is different shape / smaller in size to the later Z900 & Z1000A1/ A2, as tail piece is curved on the earlier versions with a round tail light.

Thanks for the replies Guys, not having one to measure i just assumed they looked the same as each other from ebay photos, i stand corrected which is good to know as no use if it wont fit my model
Which is a Z900 A4 so from Adrians post i guess the early Z1, Z1 A and B units wont fit but the later Z900 and Z1000 ones will.
Haydn if you do have 1 then i would be grateful to accept your offer, i will gladly pay the postage. Not too worried about missing sticker as mostly hidden away anyway. I will PM you.

Update: Got one sorted now so big thanks to Haydn for that, if anyone happens to have the rubber pull handle please let me know, CSML do them, but out of stock at mo, Zpower also do pattern ones if im stuck, oh and loads in US but postage cost/import duty kills it, but someone may have 1 laying around if so PM please?

Thanks for the offer Nigel, the one Haydn sent me, is great but doesnt fit my model its slightly too big, just my luck, although it is correct one for my bike an Z900 A4, my guess prev owner put on wrong Tailpiece as per earlier model but cant confirm that as looked at both models on ebay and some have the more flat type whilst others of both models have the more curved type. Theres no continuity. So not sure which type is correct for which model.
My problem mines been fully re painted in correct diamond green with laquered graphics to late now to change it, even Shaun Dewis who did a fantastic job on my paintwork didn't notice, so really not sure if its the Tray or the tailpiece, or do i just try and trim it to fit?
More probs to sort. Anyone have the sizes of both types so i can compare.
May just have to live without the tray!
