Hi want a rear seat grab rail to fit my KZ900, a rough/rusty one is ok as I am going to use it as a base to make a rack to carry some camping gear. It will get painted so any condition as long as its still strong and not rusting through.
Sort of thing you'd probably consider chucking out is fine!

Yes but if someone had an old one they were throwing out for a few pounds I wouldn't be wasting money on a new one. I will be taking chrome off and welding a larger frame above it that will hold my camping gear, so will be just painted afterwards anyway.
If no one has one then I will get a new one, I'm just tight on money
