I’m looking for the following parts for a Z1000A2
(OR a Z1000 A1/2 with all these bits on it if you have one for sale?)
Old style Harris 4-1 exhaust
Mag wheels, 3, 5 or 7 spoke
2/4 Giuliari seat or similar
Short chrome front mudguard
Tank seat and side panels, want to do a custom paint job but keep the originals
Drilled discs (Pepper pot), or know someone who can drill the existing.
Alloy swing arm (twin shock)
Rear sets.
If anyone can help, I’m just north of Bristol

Welcome along. Seems like the old school custom look is becoming more popular the way it did in Japan a few years ago. I know another chap doing pretty much the same thing.

Thats very true , I am doing a 350lc , rd400 and I have done an lc2 power valve , all in 70's and 80's stylee
I have an astralite front wheel , 18 x 2.5 if that helps ?

Well outside of the bodywork that Utim8pc has, iv everything bar the Giuliari seat but thats an expensive list (Z1r or lester mags) ..hope you have been hiding money from your lady. Angus.

Just an update, I was looking at buying my mates Z1000A2 which is original and in good nick, but I’m more into the retro custom look hence putting the feelers out for the aftermarket parts, however, another Z1000 which has got most of the bits I want already on it came up, which I have gone for. Needs a bit of work but I have chosen to go that route and not disassembling a perfectly good standard bike, which I’m sure the purists will be pleased about.

I have a set of Henry Abe wheels and tyres that I didn't use in the rebuild of my Z1000A1.

I also have a Motad 4 into 1. It's not perfect as it has a few small dents, so I'm not looking for much money for it.

Those abe wheels are real cool, dont see many for the 1000 these days.

Oh mate, value..Depends if you can find someone who is willing to pay the asking. They are more rare than Lesters and Lester Z1000 18"/19" pairs are super rare. Daytona 7star replicas and origonals can fetch $2500 in Japan and a little less in the States but in the UK....
If it were me id put them up on Ebay as an international sale on an reserve (a price that you would be happy to get) and see how you get on but the window of interest might be fairly small but worth a try. Below is a ebay link, they are CB750 and dreaming but you never know.
