Think ill rebuild me carbs on me Z1A. It runs ok but i think could be better so as lots of other bits are new i'm going to do the carbs aswell.
Was wondering which kits people recommend and best place to buy them.
cheers,
peter.

I do rate Z-Power very highly, but I have just fitted some carb kits to a customers Z1A from them and they were pretty crap. The gaskets didn't fit properly and one of the float valve seats was faulty and pissed fuel like it was cheap Since the value of our currency has nosed dived I have been buying most stuff from Zed Power and have been very pleased with the service and on the whole the products are great.
I've had some carb kits from Z1 Enterprises in the past and they have been top hole. Not only are they cheaper but the quality is far better and you get a selection of main jets. Dunno why but they're useful for stock Only downside is the cost and time of carriage though I have known stuff to come from them quicker than some local suppliers.

I did and they sent down a couple more gaskets, which were both wrong and no valve seat. I don't want to make a big issue out of it, but when someone asks which kits are best I have to be honest and say that the kits I had from Z Power for the Z1A I've been working on for a customer were not great in my opinion. The bottom line is that they didn't make 'em and they are stuck with what their suppliers send them I guess. But the point of this forum is to share experiences.
