Desperately seeking.......

#1 PostAuthor: HARRY4448 » Sun May 24, 2009 2:28 pm

Z1000 Mk2 rear disc.Four bolt fixing type.
Mine is goosed.
Also looking for two front discs again for the Mk2.
Mine are right on the limit.
Desperate to restore my Z1000H to original.Rather not use pattern replacements

I understand the A1? discs are the same only undrilled. I can get the holes drilled no problem. Need discs with some meat on them though.

Thanks

Harry I have a set of what I think are Mk2 alloys with the rear disc on them the disc is very good but has some surface rust which would have to be polished, I also have a set of 82 front discs which are excellent, I was intending to keep them but if they are what you are after and you want to make me a reasonable offer for the lot including the wheels I might consider letting them go.

Thanks Steve,
I really only wanted the discs. Having looked at some images of the 82 Z1000 which I believe was the J type I think the 82 discs are different to the Mk2. Your offer is much appreciated but I really wanted to keep my H original.

Cheers

I might have a set of front discs - they're four bolters and drilled. Surface area is really good with no scouring.

I'm not sure what they're off - I had a lot 80's Kawasakis over the years.
However, I also stripped and rebuilt a Z1000 H twice over the fourteen years I owned it. For all I know these are some discs I bought for it and never got around to using.

If you can give me the dimensions of your current discs I'll measure them up and see if they match.
