All my wheel bearings have been replaced by modern sealed bearings.
Am I right in thinking that sealed bearings make the original oil seals redundant? The bearing kits came with them, but there didn't seem to be enough room.
I'm happy to trust the sealed bearings to withstand weather, but wonder why they would have been included with the bearing kits if they weren't necessary?

Re: Oil seals with sealed wheel bearings?
Fit them if there's room. Sealed rollet bearings aren't very well sealed really and the seals aren't very robust. The more sealing the better plus it'll look right.
