Electronic Tacho

#1 PostAuthor: popsA1 » Fri Oct 23, 2020 5:15 pm

Hi
I’m looking for a Z1 style electronic tacho for my A1. I read elsewhere that some have had bad luck with the units sold by zPower. Does anyone have any good experience with them?

I fitted one which lasted 500 miles before it went haywire. I ended up fitting a pair of Zephyr 1100 clocks on my zed, grafted to a resculptured clock mounting bracket.
However it has been suggested that, the electronic tachos are very sensitive to vibration, and if I had fitted the electronic tacho with better foam it would have faired better.
