Z2 750 Bore service limits

#1 PostAuthor: GuyP » Wed Apr 14, 2021 3:44 pm

Anyone know what the cylinder bore service limits are on a Z2 750, bore is 64mm just checking on wear limits whilst tidying up a few things. I see the Z1 900 is standard 66mm with a wear limit of 66.10mm. Thanks.

I’ve restored a few Z2’s. Yes 0.004” would be the point of a rebore.
If you use IMD pistons/rings these are made from superior materials and the bore would be skirt OD (measured at right angle to small ends) + 0.0015-0.002”.

Thanks for the info, very much appreciated. Apologies for the delayed reply from me.
