Re: GPZ1100B2 Ohlins Shocks / Others ?
HaveHagon7610 shocks on my GPZ1100B2 which have adjustable damping as well as Spring rate and are brilliant. When ordered got springs to my weight truthfully and have been for about 10years with no problems even on Trackdays cost about £200 when bought.Handles very well and safe giving confidence ZRX shocks not good on own model so I wouldnt recomend.Hope this helps also rest of bike needs to be straight and aligned correctly shocks wont solve by themselves :
Re: GPZ1100B2 Ohlins Shocks / Others ?
Below is an screen shot from the Ohlins catalogue showing the length of the shocks etc.(
Unfortunately the GPZ11/ 1000 J is not listed but I thought standard shock length for those bikes was 365 the same as ZRX11's. However the Brooks Barn suspension web site says 350mm and would be a useful place to look at specs.
Many of the Track guys use YSS on their twin shocks and swear buy them. Grumpy 1260's can supply them.
Hope this helps.
