Hope you can confirm something please all.
On the right hand switchgear on my Z1B, the protrusion or nib (?) which drops into the hole in the handlebars has sheared. I’d say this is a pretty common issue given that the same thing has happened on both the Z’s I have on the table currently. Can I assume that originally this piece is a cast part of the main switch-gear body or is it a threaded piece which has to be screwed into the housing?
I would plan to drill a small hole and either thread is for a small bolt or glue a small piece into the hole without threading.
Can anyone advise pls?
Thanks in advance.

Re: Right-hand switchgear ‘nib'
Yes your correct just a cast part of the switch, i have had a few broke of to

Re: Right-hand switchgear ‘nib'
its only there to locate & prevent the switch from turning & i don't think there is much material to drill & tap it. if you can tighten the switch enough without it moving i would leave it as it is
