J2 ignition lock source?

#1 PostAuthor: warren3200gt » Tue Apr 05, 2022 10:05 am

As title guys, it's not available for J1 & 2 any longer from khi. J3 repop is available from zpower but is totally different in both wire colours, mount and barrel length as the clock set for a j3 is different to a J1 & 2.
J1 & 2 is a 6 wire block with a seventh female spur.
Anyone resolved this issue, if so how? or source of a repop or have a sh unit available for beer tokens?

The ignition switch is the same as the gpz1100 b1. There was a brand new one for sale on ebay, although second hand ones do come up as well.

Do you know if that is plug n play by any chance. Can't really see whether it's 6 or 7 wire.

It would seem from this thread it almost is.
