You can look up part numbers all over the Web but khi also have part diagrams/numbers online. If your looking on your phone you'll need to view in portrait to be able to see the part numbers

Z-Power list a couple of 6-pin + 1 wire ignition switches (not specifically for an ST though) - one in stock, one not. Might be worth a look or give them a bell, see what they say?

TTFN, Grog
1979 Z1R (mostly - it's been fiddled with a bit)
1977 Z650B1 - I'll get round to putting it back together one day...

That looks suspiciously similar to an 81/82 1000 j1/2.
If it is then they are unobtainium. Lots of places list it but the stock they have doesn't fit as its an 83 model and totally different shape.
I spent a couple years trying to find one but never did. Closest I got was a Vulcan one but ended up taking the tumblers out of it and putting them in the J body.

Good luck trying to find one.

The IGNITION SWITCH ASSEMBLY is down as 27005-5009 but if you do a google on it there seems to be quite a few dodgy supposed replacements but..
The OEM full lock set is listed as 27004-5033 but with a heafty price at US $299.99 ebay link below but doesn't look the same.

You might be lucky and one of the lads might have one knocking about.

Unfortunately that list isn't right. Trust me, I spent a loooong time trying to find the correct switch. J3, Some J2, ELR and the majority on that list, possibly all, are the ones that WON'T fit.
Thats the one I had to pillage the parts from to fit my J2 body.
The difference is subtle but enough to render it useless.

This is assuming your St and my J2 switches are the same of course.

The list is from partzilla and i would imagine that they recon one "size fits all" mate but they are not often wrong but not often means sometimes. I have a few Gpz1100 ignitions knocking around if OP wants the dimensions off one of them.

It was a few years ago that I did mine and if I recall correctly it was all down to the way the steering lock deployed.
Kawasaki parts diagram shows two different types of ignition lock for a j2, the original on mine was a cross between the two.
After much research and trawling the kz and J forums I did track mine down to being the same as used in a Vulcan but I couldn't find one using that as a search either.

Rather annoyingly the khi parts diagrams don't show the ignition for a ST
