#1 PostAuthor: stusco » Fri Jul 12, 2024 6:50 pm

I’ve seen plenty bikes with superbike bars and different front forks and swingarm and wheels but i cant find any info on donor parts with the right length of forks I prefer RWU forks , alot of the bikes ive seen are in Japan and the write ups are poor when translated, any help or pointers appreciated

The bandit 1200 is a good choice for the Gpz, see a few guys do it before, i think a fella was doing a conversion on KZrider before i left.
Angus.

Too many bikes to list.

ZX9 C1/C2 or ZRX are among the longer ones although still shorter than the stock ones.

My lawson has zrx 1200 front forks fitted and zrx 1100 Swinging arm with 1200 wheels. Compared to my endurance bike which has 1200 wheels and standard forks and zephyr 1100 Swinging arm. The ground clearance on the lawson is certainly lower and I regularly ground down the generator case on track. The endurance bike set up is much better and ground clearance isn't a problem.
I am in the process of changing the lawson to the endurance bike front forks setup.
Happy to share measurements, for both if required

Just measured 3 of our bikes . Top of fork to centre of front wheel spindle .
ZRX1100 29 1/4"
z1000R2. 31 3/8"
z1000 with zx9 forks 29 1/2"
z1000 has a stepped top yoke to allow the forks to drop through to give more ground clearance .
All bike were on the side stand .
