Sprocket cover Z1000 A1

#1 PostAuthor: Headspinning » Thu Aug 15, 2024 5:34 pm

Hi everybody, I've just been cleaning up my sprocket cover and clutch release assembly and I wonder if anyone knows if there is a replacement for the absorbent foam within the sprocket cover.
As you can see from the photo it's pretty shitty.
I look forward to your thought on this matter

Hi.
Mine was in far better condition and was well bonded to the perforated plate giving the impression its an expanding spray foam application. As its just for noise suppression an industrial spray filler/insulation foam should do it. Just test for expansion rate beforehand and don't over lubricate the chain for longevity.

Not a listed part and the one you have in the pic is as good as they come, If you are lucky to find one better it would be hens teeth.

I think they are listed as a part, I got one last year for Big Fluff, Will B, will see if I can get a couple more, but will be at least 6-8 weeks, if any left.

Thanks to all for your advice. I've looked for the part 92075-314, without any joy, so I might try getting a car sound proofing foam pad and cut that to size.
