Fuel Gauge Sender O Ring Dimensions ??

Can anyone please confirm the dimensions of the O-Ring (K Part no 920551067).

Its the O-Ring that fits in the recess of the tank for the fuel gauge sender

Its a commonly used part on most Z1000 / Z1100 Models from 81 onwards.

Are you sure it is the Fuel Gauge Sender and not the Petcock?
Any sender I have use an oval rubber gasket?

There's two types used between 80 & 83. One is oval the other is circular.
I just cut whatever I need from an old inner tube avoiding the ribs. Bit of rtv both sides job done.

The Fuel Sender Unit has a Round O Ring to seal it.
The Fuel Tap (petcock) is completely differnt.

What bike are talking about? UK J's and R's both use rubber gasket not an o ring to seal the sender unit / tank joint.

Some models have a round O ring and share these with some Z1300's i believe.
I havnt got the sizes sorry, the only one i have is on the bike with petrol in it just now.

We are talking the KZ1000 LTD and CSR 1981 to 1982.

Thanks Warren................but they want £10.50 + £5.00 postage which is a bit rich for an o-ring.

Got measurements now (40x3mm) and got a Nitrile one on Ebay for £1.90 delivered !

Maybe a tad OTT but use em or loose em. Tough times for small businesses.

Very true...............

Thats why I have spent over £300 with them in the last 4 months, but £16.00 for an oring that is available for £1.90 is just a bridge too far !!
