Getting a V5 for a frame?

#1 PostAuthor: dixiethedog » Tue Feb 04, 2025 10:22 am

About a hundred years ago, a friend who was moving house and having a clearout gave me a z650 frame. But, he did not have the reg plate or V5 as they had been misplaced somewhere down the line.

I have the VIN number but I am not sure in which direction to go to obtain a V5 so that I can at least think about starting to do something with the frame?

Could any of you fine chaps offer any advice, please? It could potentially help get another old Kawasaki back on the road. :D

Used this guy numerous times.

Get the info.

Go to .GOV site and print off form V62

Fill it in as if you have just bought the bike/frame but the log book was lost.

Send it off with a cheque for £25 I think and a V5c should return
