Sorry, I can't do the measurement as the bike is stripped. There are plenty of others on here with 11 Uni's. Maybe worth doing a new thread specifically for that question in case people aren't following this one.

I'm on holiday until Monday so I can't get the measurement to the centre of the balance tube home till then.

Phil.

I hung the tang of the tape at the top of the top mount.
It was 230mm to the top of the bottom mount.
It was 270mm to the bottom of the bottom mount.
It was 216mm to the centre of the balance tube.

You have 230 top to top, I have 249! At least I know where the issue is. I appreciate the time and effort, you, Pete and Hard road put in to reply with pictures and measurements. Hopefully the head will go back on without issues. :beer
