I've got a very old one on my ST, can't commemt on sound, PO cut the baffle in 1/2, loud when reaching the higher rpms. Still got the centre stand but need to take it off for an oil anf filter change.

I have a Marving on my Z1000A2

It fits well, sounds great with the baffle fitted with no packing and yes you can keep the centre stand no problem, quality is very good.

Would I recommend one -that's a definite yes

The nearest alternative would be a Delkevic

I hope that sways your thinking

Hi John,

I saw that someone has suggested a Delkevic as an alternative. I had one of the on my ZX11 and went for the black ceramic. The coating was not good and flaked off within a few hundred miles. Delkevic did send me some new headers but offered no explanation as to why the coating had come off or what improvements might have been made

Have one on my z1a. Good quality. Only downside is you have to take it off to do an oil change. I prefer the look over the Dekevlic which I think is too short.
