So ive got zrx1200 daeg forks on my gpz1100 i got a nice top yoke made to take the ignition and clocks now im onto wheels and brakes, ive got zrx1200 wheels new discs now im looking for calipers preferably Brembo but it turns out the mount holes are 63mm and there are very little brakes out there ! Would you open out the mount holes to take 65mm brake as there is a wide selection?

Agreed - bit dodgy to oval out the holes to fit, you'll create a weak spot and then one day , on heavy braking ,the calliper will come adrift just when you need it to be rock solid

Pretty much any engineering workshop can make them if you can't yourself. Just need to give them drawings.

Rapide Engineering , Trinty Gask , Auchterarder . 01764 683853 . They made the plates for the brakes on the front of our 1000R2 , std forks , Eliminator wheel , 320mm floating discs and Nissin 4 pot calipers . I am taking the front end from my klr650 up over the winter to get a plate made to for a brake upgrade .

Not to be pedantic but why? the zrx1200 calipers are more than adequate and the Brembo set up is around £722.00

That set up doesn’t fit the forks i have ,and bike torque don’t do adapters for my forks , i got brembo callipers for half that price from japan .
Next question is do i need the brake disc gaskets? I’ve never seen them before bit the zrx1200 has them.

I don’t like tokio callipers they are prone to seized pistons
