I tried the hot water method the last time, this evening I used a heat gun on the 1000R - it was quite bad but got it done. New rubbers would do no harm...

Not to mention possible problems with vacuum leaks with cracked and brittle ones.

If anyone has any low speed running issues, its always worth checking the rubbers for cracks.... :(
Best way is to leave bike running and spray a bit of 'Easy Start' at the rubbers.... If the revs increase there are cracks and the spray is being drawn in :wink:
And on the 7th day... Zeds were created!
