I will take the bike off the road now until next year so I will drain the carbs and tank replace the plugs and hope for better luck next year. One final question what should I check in the engine kill switch as reading through various threads this seems to be a regular area for miiifires/ poor running

Changed plug caps the biks starts better. The more it is used the better it starts which makes finding a final answer frustrating
. The bike is kept in a warm garage under a soft cloth cover so I think damp can be ruled out
