z900 fuel tap

My worry is that I gather these couplers are around 40mm long. The only way this is going to fit on the shorter fuel line is to make the line much longer and lay it over the top of the rubbers - but will this cause other problems that I haven't thought of?
Has anyone fitted QR couplers?

Well, I'll have to run the line under the tank, heading to the other side, then double back then down to the carb feeds
There should be plenty of scope to fit the QR's in them somewhere
Theres plenty of room under the tank, and as the fuel height is above the lines, the head of pressure should bleed any air out
Suck & see i suppose
