Can I just say the Z900's were also supplied with tool kits containing spanners with both the big "K" mark & the butterfly mark.
By the "butterfly" mark I assume you refer to the Kawasaki Heavy Industries logo ?
They were also not supplied with an allen key in the tool kit.

Maybe I'm splitting hairs here, but ........ :lol:

yes z900s were similar to Z1 big "K" introduced after 75 and no Allen key and different bag.
Nice pic in mickey hesse black book volume 3

Any one know of a source for the early repro bags?
Rather stupidly I sold mine a few years back and could do with one now for my 72 project bike
Now where did I leave my Keys!

probably looked at the owners manual as it shows tool bag has one stud ,even though they where velcro fastening !
