Ok, been for a long run and all is ok again, so must have been condensation as a few of you rightly said. Pretty sure it wouldn't have been petrol as it hasn't been stood, tap is a vacuum one which I refurb'd at time of oil change and there was only enough fuel in the tank to start it up. That would have caused problems on the 40 odd mile ride too. I'll check again in the morning. :wink:

i used to get that all the time on a buell (yeah i know its a bit different to kwaks) turned out to be too many short runs - when it got to its worst the oil looked like mayo!!!
