I've had a brace of LTD's or "Black Widows" as my mate calls 'em (from the biker gang in the Clint Eastwood films as in "right turn Clyde").
Might be worth trying a standard airbox with the CV carbs and check the jetting spec from the U.K. spec LTD as opposed to the U.S. CSR model.
Get a twin shock GPz1100 cylinder block and a Wiseco 1170 kit,a Vance and Hines pipe with some decents carbs and you'll be flying along.
If you fit Z1000J footrest assembly, brake pedal, etc you'll have a slightly more rear-set foot position. :vcool :vcool
