Help me please

Hi my Gpz1100b1 carb model is playing up!! When started from cold on choke it runs fine. Soon as the choke is switched off, it then back fires and runs on only two/three pots. Any ideas why????

Thank you

It sounds to me like an air leak which is being covered up when the bike is on full choke.
Check your carb manifolds that are bolted to the cylinder head.
Also your carbs might need,stripping,ultra-sonic cleaning and re-building.
Have you had the bike running properly since you've owned it and has it been stored for any length of time??

I agree with previous replies, mucky carbs and /or air leaks.
Has the bike been stood for some time and done this after lay up? If so would definately suspect carb varnishing- strip em, clean em and try again.
