Thanks for the leads fellas, I've checked these sites and probably everyone in the world to no avail.

I'm amazed how many sellers list Z1/Z900A4/Z1000A1/A2 as the same-same, gets your hopes up, then what the f##k.

Good opening for a supplier to do A4/A1/A2 seats also A1/A2 orig. pipes, must be enough demand?

Hench :(

Hench, not sure, but I thought you could fit the later lock catch onto these seats rather than the plunger catch?

Cheers

The two most common reproduction seats are from Doremi and PMC. If you buy a seat from someone ask for the Doremi seat, it is a far higher quality item. The PMC seat is really crappy quality.

A replica standard seat for the Z900/Z1000A1/A2. Will also fit the 900/1000 LTD models.comes with hinges/rubbers but NOT the U shaped catch. made in Japan to original specifaction. The cover is not quite right, more like the original z1 pattern.Comes as standard as the American/Export type without the strap however Please order the strap if you need one seperatly.

Available Options:
Seat strap kit (+$29.973a)

Thanks all, yes most repo seats take plunger and U bolt but

As can be seen above, all these seats have Z1 series pattern, works out bit expensive one of these plus an A4 repo seat cover, maybe only option.

Thanks again from sunny Aust. Hench.
