Hi Alan
it is possible to polish out the yellow with things such as autosol, but the chrome is only decorative and only a few microns thick and polishing will remove some of the chrome,it will then yellow and blue up again, eventually you will polish off the chrome and the subsrata of nickel and then the areas will rust very quickly,i actually like the yellowing on the pipes it shows they are used.

Blue Job, i did my pipes. Works really well but yellowing will eventually come back and you have to do them again. If it helps here's the place I use.
