looks like a Mk2 set of pipes not the earlier Z1000 ones.

I Know them; manufacturer BSM, meant for a Z1000ST.
Bought a set advertised for as fitting also on (my) Z1000A1.
Right now modifying it since the muffler bracket doesn't match the frame fitting. Think that when I'm finished it looks great!

Zedteds right; I had a BSM system like this on my z1000A1. I also had to make up brackets so the silencers would meet the frame -the existing lugs on the silencers are an inch or two too short. I couldn't keep the centre stand on either. It hung far too low with the BSM and would have been at risk of grounding. On the plus side, the quality of the chrome seemed pretty good.
The V&H I've got on now is much quicker to show rust spots in comparison.
The BSM is a very quiet exhaust. You might like that and you might not...

P.S. Zedted I've got a couple of brackets that I made to mount the BSM silencers to the frame. You're welcome to have them if you want to save you work. They just bolt to the existing brackets to lengthen them. They're made of stainless.

To be honest, i have seen Predator systems, not very impressed. You would be better off with a good quality 4-1.

I have 2-1 Predator system on my XBR500, seems good quality to me.
I also have 4-2 Motad system for z900/z1000 that i no longer require and may sell for a sensible offer. They where used for less than a year while deciding to go for 4-4 pipes.
