Do dyna coils earh on frame from mounting bolts?

No 'additional' ground required Brian.
Make sure that you use plastic or nylon spacers between the coils and the frame, as the terminals are so close power can easily arc across and cause a dead Zed.!

Bit confused on this thread i assumed the coils were earthed through the mounting bolts to the frame but i was going to run an extra ground wire to the frame anyway,some replies on this thread say to put insulators between the coils and the frame?.....!!!!!!!

Here's how I mounted & insulated my coils.
Oddly enough Mikey was getting all sorts of electric shocks on his Zed, until he removed a bit of powdercoating & earthed his coils directly to the frame, although that could have been because the wired earth was a bad one.

See what you mean bear, that bottom terminal is very close to the mounting bolt will put some sleeving to stop shorting of low tension terminal to frame do you think its a good idea to run an extra ground wire from the coil metal core to the frame and not just rely on the mounting bolts?

If your wiring is sound, then you shouldn't need to, but it certainly won't do you any harm.
