Where do you get endless one piece chains for Z1b from??

#1 PostAuthor: pertonpc » Tue Mar 16, 2010 1:39 pm

Hi folks,
I am trying to sort out a Z1b project and I reckon it needs a 630 pitch 92 link chain. All the major suppliers list them but they come as split ones.

I want to buy one that is factory made as a one piece - not riveted up by an after market supplier as suggested by shops I have contacted.

Have tried Busters, M&P, Z power and awaiting an email back from EK (was enuma the original oem mftr).

Can anyone advise me where they have got one from please?? - would take o or x ring as long as its endless

Many Thanks from Mark

I've bought endless chains in the past, [DID usually].
I specified endless when i ordered them, it shouldn't be a problem.
Have you tried; http://www.bandcexpress.co.uk/about-us/?

Thanks Phil,
I contacted B&C as suggested - it's the same story... can supply endless but they rivet up a split one to make it.
The more I look into this the more it seems you cannot get a factory made endless one... unless someone on Z1OC knows better!!!

May have to review and go back to option of getting a split one riveted up cos no way do I want a split link on a Z1 :!: :!: from Mark

Could consider TSUBAKI good quality chain, available O ring X ring or HQR, comes with spare link-not soft rivet link or spring link but you may want to borrow heavy duty rivet tool otherwise difficult to rivet.
Available from Debben Performance who can also supply conversion kit to 530. I notice they do not seem to list X-ring on web now but worth asking if they still do, I purchased mine from them last June. Alex.
