Brake banjo size - Z1000R rear master cylinder

#1 PostAuthor: martinz1000r » Fri Sep 30, 2011 9:20 am

Need to fit one of those banjo brake light switches to the ELR to get rear brake light with rear sets. What size banjo do I need? Would hate to buy wrong one (again). It is standard master cylinder.

Is it 1mm or 1.25mm pitch?

Already got caught out on rear caliper. Who would have thought a Brembo caliper uses imperial pitch??? 7/16.......

Martin, all the Kawasaki stuff I've ever had, both new & old has been M10 x 1.25mm.
