Just fitted a flasher relay to my Z1000A2
hazard warning lights as it was missing
when i got it and they work fine, except
when i turn the hazards off the relay keeps
clicking but stops when you turn the ignition
off, its not a standard kawasaki relay and has
3 terminals on it but can only see 2 wires coming
from the loom any ideas anyone please.

I bet you've gone and bought one of those electronic ones for a car, switched +ve, earth and output instead of a nice! bimetallic round one made for old bikes. If you have it working and clicking as you've described it is because the relay is fed from the ignition switch and then goes to the hazard switch to feed both indicators.
If you want to keep the relay it will mean altering the harness and having the indicator feeds from the relay output and wiring the hazard to take the feed from the ignition switch and switch that as the input feed to the relay.
Alternatively give Vehicle Wiring Products (http://www.vehicle-wiring-products.co.uk) a ring and get a suitable relay.
Personally I'd go for the second option if I was you as altering the harness means running new wiring to the lh switch cluster and a bit of soldering in there and following the wiring diagram to ensure it all works properly.

Mikey,

The hazard flasher relay needs to be designed for 4 x 21w lamps. If you use a normal indicator flasher relay (2 x 21w) the lamps will flash at double the normal rate.
Vehicle wiring products have a 2 pin mechanical one that fits the bill (part no. RFL2H) but unfortunately it comes in a rectangular case.
Give them a call, they are very helpful

Cheers,

Andy
