Ok, I know our good friends at Z Power are very helpful chaps and offer a 10% discount for members, but ?45 for a pair of throttle cables is a bit steep. I dont mind using pattern types so does anybody know of a cheaper source? My bike is a 1973 model Z1. Are they longer than the A4 cables?

Any views or information appreciated.

As suggested M&P down here in Swansea apparently ?9.99 on their site not sure of the quality for that price though, and I doubt they have them in stock, they list loads of stuff but not much stock, you may be luck though.

Personally I look through the NOS ones at autojumbles for long Suzuki and Kawasaki cables (correct chrome bends opening and closing are slightly different), cut them down to length and solder a nice new brass nipple on the end. but then again I am a tight *******!!!!!!!!!

Ian

Its the longer ones I need for my Z1. Kind member, Mark OC sent me a spare but unfortunately its too short, so I'm swapping it over with my Rickman pull cable which is longer
