help identify this seat.

mate of mine has had this in his garage for years, we cant decide what its off. It has kawasaki on the rear of the seat cover though it might not be the original cover, anyone any ideas what its from.
(The front is on the left as you look at it)
Thought the middle picture with the shield looking indentation might help identify it.
