think youre right there davy it looks very much like a H****a item 500x4 or 550

Hi, I presume you know number and ordered BRAKE ARM 42029-033 if so Its wrong, as you prob' know.

Well, looks as so you guys have nailed it. It appears most support the answer that the curved brake lever, is from a Hondx 550 or 500. Also it has been confirmed that the splines were identical (Hon & Kaw)

....Wait, late entry, it could be off a GPZ 500. We should be able to check that!

Z1backnacker', I can't seem to find the number for the early Z1 with the head of the bolt to the front. The number 42029-033 you quoted is also for a Z900A4 (head to rear). Maybe Kawasaki didn't change it's number for this item.

It appear this problem has been solved by another forum (ApplesZ1 from World WideZ1/Z900). Just for interest and to conclude this topic; the curved rear brake-arm shown at the outset, belongs to a Kawasaki VN800. At last some sleep for this deranged Znut!
