sticky float

#1 PostAuthor: Surfdeneige » Wed Aug 22, 2007 8:25 pm

How do you cure a slightly sticky float that lets out a steady slow drip? Any other ideas what might cause it? All the float valves and seats are fully functional and clean. Will it sort itself out? Only starts to drip from 1 when I stop.

Probably just a bit of dirt, use an inline fuel filter.

Check floats not holed & letting fuel in as this will not stop flow.

A keyster carb kit is less that ?15 per carb, worth a go
And on the 7th day... Zeds were created!
